Spatial Analysis of Libraries Across Chicago Wards

Author(s): heliv2

This notebook examines how public libraries are distributed across Chicago wards. Using library location data and ward boundaries, I counted the number of libraries in each ward. A choropleth map shows that central wards have more libraries, while some outer wards are underserved. This simple spatial analysis highlights patterns of access and can help guide urban planning, equity initiatives, and community advocacy.
