Project_Mapping_Tornado_Risk_Zones

Assess tornado hazards in Illinois through analysis of tornado records combined with geographic data representations of school locations and health facilities alongside highway routes and communal census districts. The study performs a data analysis between present-day events and previous five and ten years to show how tornado frequency meets vulnerable infrastructure. Risk assessments demonstrate particular vulnerability among specific school districts together with major highways and hospitals thus indicating a strong need for better safety procedures. Regions with regular tornado occurrences should strengthen building construction while planning frequent emergency response drills and providing roadside safety facilities. The project generates practical information to enhance emergency preparedness systems while protecting citizens from tornado-induced disaster damage.
